Oxfam is one of the world’s leading NGOs operating in over 92 countries with a mission to end the injustice of poverty. In 2012, Oxfam decided to create a single global identity – something that would unify it and resonate with supporters around the world.
Team at Wolff Olins looked at the idea of patchwork – an organic way of things coming together with patterns full of colour and warmth. As the vision is optimistic we wanted the messaging to be full of hope with the graphics to reflect that.
In addition we created a typeface from cut out paper which gave a feeling of spontaneity as if anyone could have created it.
